This is a Vietnamese-made United States Air Force 609th air commando squadron flash. The flash is arc-shaped and reads 609TH AIR COMDO SQ.

Circa Vietnam War.

2-1/4" height and 5" width.

Canvas patch embroidered in blue cotton/silk/polyester threads.
