Vietnam War USAF 8th SOS Air Commando Squadron Firebirds Liberty Squadron Patch

This is a United States Air Force 8th Special Operations Squadron air commando patch. The patch shows an eagle with spread wings clutching a liberty bell in its talons and reads 8TH SOS FIREBIRDS LIBERTY SQUADRON.

Circa Vietnam War.

3-1/16" height and 3-11/16" width.

Tangerine-colored cotton patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk/polyester threads with canvas backing.

8+ (Excellent): Patch has beautiful coloring and almost no wear except a few unraveling threads at edge.
