US Air Force 311th Air Commando Squadron Patch Machine-Made in Vietnam

This is a United States Air Force 311th Air Commando Squadron patch machine-made in Vietnam. The patch shows parachute with a sword landing in a wheat field in a mountainous region and reads 311TH AIR COMMANDO SQUADRON, PRIOR SEMPER SINE TIMORE ("always first without fear ").

Circa Vietnam War.

4-3/8" diameter.

Green and blue cotton patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk/polyester threads with muslin backing.
