This is a South Vietnamese Navy plaque that is wooden with a raised metal plaque affixed to its surface. The plaque reads HAI QUAN (Navy in Vietnamese) CONG XUONG and shows an industrial scene in which a derrick is connecting to a ship in drydock near a factory.
VINTAGE:Circa Vietnam War.
SIZE:11-3/16" height and 7-5/8" width and 1-3/8" depth.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wood with painted aluminum.
ATTACHMENT:Keyhole bracket for hanging.
MARKINGS:Hard-to-read pencil marks on reverse (possibly years or measurements).

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Plaque has some light abrasions and light chipping of paint in small areas.
