Vietnam War Era Private Purchase Fighting Knife Commando Style Made in Japan

This is a private purchase fighting knife in a leather sheath from the Vietnam War era. The knife is in the commando or stiletto style.

Circa Vietnam War.

13-5/8" length and 2" width (in sheath); knife only: 11-1/4" by 1-7/8"; blade only: 6-1/2" by 7/8".

Steel with painted wooden handle, brass; leather sheath, elasticized cotton band.

Elasticized band holds knife to sheath neck.
