ARTIFACT: This is a United States Army & United States Air Force Field Manual entitled "US Army/US Air Force Doctrine for Airborne Operations" FM 57-1/AFM 2-51. It was published during the Vietnam War era (September 1967).

VINTAGE: Circa Vietnam War(published September 1967).

SIZE: 70 pages, with illustrations; approximately 10-1/4" in height and 7-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding, punched holes.

MARKINGS: COMMANDING OFFICER 2D BN (105 T) 102D ARTY NATIONAL GUARD ARMORY DANVERS. MA 01923 stamped on front; FM 57-1/AFM 2-51 DEPARTMENTS OF THE ARMY AND THE AIR FORCE WASHINGTON, D.C. 27 SEPTEMBER 1967; U.S. GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE 1967 – 305-502/5930A AGO 5930A.
