Vietnam-Made USAF Douglas A-1E Skyraider Patch & SANDY Arc NO LONGER AVAILABLE

This is a circa Vietnam War era in-country-made USAF Douglas A-1E Skyraider patch and a "SANDY" arc. This set would have been by any USAF unit flying A-1Es in Vietnam: "Sandy" was their call sign. The arc is embroidered upon twill and the patch is embroidered upon cotton.

Circa Vietnam War.

Patch: approximately 2-3/4" by 2-1/16"; arc: 1" by 2-7/8".

Patch: cotton embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads, muslin backing; arc: twill embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads.
