Description
This is a Vietnamese-made sandcast Dynalectron representative belt buckle. Dynalectron technically started in 1962, however its predecessor company was California Eastern Airways Inc., which acted as behind-the-scenes aviation and logistics support for the Department of Defense. Among Dynalectron's functions during the Vietnam War was to work with Army navigational systems. The buckle shows a cartoonish tiger and reads BE A TIGER! with the Dynalectron "d" logo.
VINTAGE:Circa Vietnam War.
SIZE:1-15/16" height and 3-5/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Buckle appears to have more wear than it actually does because of the sandcasting process, which lends a pebbly look to the item.
