Description
This is a Vietnam era Japanese-made jacket patch for the F-4 Phantom aircraft. The F-4 was the first United States Navy fighter aircraft to be absorbed into the United States Air Force program. The patch is triangular and shows the aircraft silhouette in white against a navy field.
VINTAGE:Circa Vietnam era.
SIZE:Approximately 5-5/8" height and 3-3/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads with a muslin backing.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The patch has very little wear with some small areas of light discoloration on its reverse only. The patch does curl a bit at the corners when laid flat.
