Vietnam Era Japanese-Made F-4 Phantom Jacket Patch

This is a Vietnam era Japanese-made jacket patch for the F-4 Phantom aircraft. The F-4 was the first United States Navy fighter aircraft to be absorbed into the United States Air Force program. The patch is triangular and shows the aircraft silhouette in white against a navy field.

Circa Vietnam era.

Approximately 5-5/8" height and 3-3/16" width.

Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads with a muslin backing.

8 (Excellent-): The patch has very little wear with some small areas of light discoloration on its reverse only. The patch does curl a bit at the corners when laid flat.

As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
