ARTIFACT:
This is a very rare World War II US Navy Torpedoman's jacket, size 44. It has a "Been There" look to it. This was obtained from the Portsmouth Navy Yard and was undoubtedly worn on a submarine during World War II, though the exact vessel remains unknown

Circa WWII.
SIZE:
Men's Size Large to Extra Large; Armpit to Armpit approx: 21-3/4"; Shoulder to Shoulder appr: 21"; Collar to Hem approx: 42-1/2"; Shoulder-Cuff appr: 29-1/2".
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Cotton & Alpaca.

CONDITION:
6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The belt and zipper are both in tact and work, but the button at the bottom of the jacket is missing and the second button from the bottom is loose. There are a few stains on the jacket, as well.
