ARTIFACT: This is a very rare World War II United States Army Air Force officer collar insignia by Wallace Bishop of Brisbane, Australia. The insignia is a winged propeller with the upper blade slightly canting to the left.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold- and nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: British-style kick pin with C catch.


ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VF/BD08 LABEX1/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The insignia shows light wear and some tarnish, mostly on the wings.
