ARTIFACT:

This is a rare World War II pair of United States Army Air Forces officer collar insignia by Angus & Coote of Australia. Each insignia is a winged propeller.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 13/16" in height and 1-1/4" in width (each).

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold- and nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Two posts with clutch-back catch on each.

MARKINGS:

ANGUS & COOTE SYDNEY on each.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDAX08 LBIEX1/11

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The insignia both show light wear and have a nice patina.
