Description
This is a very rare World War II Civilian Technician hat for a technician working with the United States Navy. The increasingly complex technology that outstripped the skill set of most enlisted men and officers fired the need to engage these civilian specialists with the military. The front of the hat has a great bullion eagle with the rectangular US Technician badge on its breast. The eagle is clutching both an olive branch and a wrench in his talons.
