This is a very rare World War II United States Army Air Forces patch for the 421st night Fighter Squadron, 5th Flying Command, 5th Air Force. The patch shows Bugs Bunny piloting an aircraft with a flashlight and carrot.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:4-1/2" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Blue felt patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk threads with muslin backing.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army Air Forces patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDJJX09 LAEJJX 4/10 SAEJJX7/10
CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Patch shows light wear and there are some tiny areas of felt that are missing.
