ARTIFACT:
Fantastic, huge, WWII United States Army Air Forces 36th Fighter Squadron, 8th Fighter Group, 5th Air Force Australian-made jacket patch. Known as the "Flying Fiends" the unit was island hopping in the Pacific in WWII flying P-39s, P-38s, and P-40 fighter aircraft.
