This is a very rare United States Shipping Board cap badge circa World War I or possibly even earlier. The badge is an eagle atop a crest of stars and stripes with two crossed anchors behind.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I or earlier.
SIZE:1-1/8" height and 1-1/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass with red, white and blue enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with "C" catch.
