ARTIFACT: This is a very rare World War II United States Army Air Force Women Air Force Service Pilots (WASP) pilot wing in sterling by Josten. The wing is a diamond shape flanked by a pair of spread wings.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 2-3/4" wing.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutchback catches.

MARKINGS: JOSTEN STERLING on reverse of wing and STERLING and PAT PEND numbers on catches.
