Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a very rare early World War II United States Army Air Force glider pilot wing with original manufacturer's card. Wing shows a G at center flanked by a pair of spread wings, and was made by Officers Equipment Co. in Madison, New Jersey.

VINTAGE:

Circa early WWII.

SIZE:

3-1/4" wing.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under swivel catch.
