ARTIFACT:

This is a very rare, second style, first type patch for the Boy Scouts' Order of the Arrow (OA) Lodge #76 in Burlington County, New Jersey (Patch R2a on John Panel's OA insignia web site). The patch shows a salamander and reads W.W.W.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1935.

SIZE:

3" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Red felt patch embroidered in green and black cotton/silk threads with muslin backing.
