Description
This is a very rare pair of United States Army Coast Artillery Officer collar insignia in heavy die-struck gilt bronze with enamel. They show crossed cannon with an artillery shell at the red enameled center. These are in the sew-on type with four small loops on the reverse of each insignia.
VINTAGE:Circa 1902.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height by 1-7/16" in width (each).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Heavy die-struck gilt bronze with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Loops for sewing insignia on.
MARKINGS:4 stamped on reverse of each.
