ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare pair of United States Army Field Artillery Officer collar insignia in faux bullion. The crossed cannon are in gilt sterling silver with enameled brass centers showing a spoked wheel. These are in the sew-on type with four small loops on the reverse of each insignia.

VINTAGE: Circa 1902.

SIZE: Approximately 15/16" in height by 1-9/16" in width (each).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt sterling silver, enameled brass.

ATTACHMENT: Loops for sewing insignia on, brads holding centers in place.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an early United States Army officer collar insignia collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX14 LBCEX4/14 SBJJX6/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The insignia have some light wear and tarnish and a couple of small specks of oxidation.
