This is a very rare example of a 1930's French Air Force 34th Combat Group Badge with the insignias of the four squadrons that comprise the group: BR 224, BR 227, SAL 14, and SAL 18.
VINTAGE:1930's.
SIZE:1-1/2" in height x 1-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass and enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Safety-type pin attached to the back.
MARKINGS:The badge is marked "ARTHUS BERTRAND" and "PARIS DEPOSE" on the back.

CONDITION:8- (Very fineexcellent) This badge shows some signs of wear, and the gilding has been rubbed through in places, but the badge is in a generally great condition.
