ARTIFACT:

This is a very rare 1928 National Air Races at Los Angeles, California mechanic's badge. The badge is round, showing an airplane labeled MECHANIC 27The border of the badge reads LOS ANGELES SEPT. 8-16 1928 NATIONAL AIR RACES AERONAUTICAL EXPOSITION.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1928.

SIZE:

2-1/4" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Celluloid and tin with brown paper backing.

ATTACHMENT:

Diagonal straight pin.

MARKINGS:
