ARTIFACT: This is a very rare 1929 National Air Races at Cleveland, Ohio contest pin. The pin is round, showing a plane reading CONTEST 1775. The border of the badge reads CLEVELAND AUG. 24 TO SEPT. 2ND 1929 NATIONAL AIR RACES AERONAUTICAL EXPOSITION.

VINTAGE: Circa 1929.

SIZE: 2-3/8" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid and tin with brown paper backing.

ATTACHMENT: Diagonal straight pin.

MARKINGS: N/A.
