Very Rare 1920s New York City Police Aviation Section Hat Badge in Bullion

This is a very rare 1920s New York City Police aviation section hat badge. The badge shows a pair of spread wings in bullion bearing crest of red, white and blue at center.

Circa 1920s.

2-1/16 height and 2-1/16" width.

Velvet embroidered in gold bullion and red, white and blue silk/cotton threads with mesh backing.
