ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II patriotic "key chain knife" with celluloid scales showing Uncle Sam and the words "Key to Defense" on one side and "Camp Breckenridge. Kentucky" on the other. Breckenridge was built in 1942 and housed German prisoners-of-war from 1943- to 194The blade is unsharpened but has one area of foxing.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 7/8" in width and 2-1/16" in length (when closed).

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Celluloid, steel.

ATTACHMENT:

Swiveling blade, hole for attachment.

MARKINGS:
