ARTIFACT: Very cool 1980's USS San Francisco SSN-711 nuclear submarine sailor's Philippine-made belt buckle. The center of the buckle displays stylized dolphins on either side of a ships bow - resembling the Submariner Dolphin insignia - and surrounding it reads: "USS SAN FRANCISCO SSN-711 FTGI (SS) JONES"

VINTAGE: Circa 1980's

SIZE: Approximately 3" x 1-3/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome plated brass

ATTACHMENT: Hinged plate with 'teeth' for attachment to belt

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USN collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCFX16 LIEX10/16

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The belt buckle shows minor wear, much of the plated details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
