Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a nice and clean World War II China-Burma-India (CBI) theatre US flight jacket back flag/chit. The chit shows an American flag printed on silk, with a linen backing. These were also sometimes carried in the pocket of flight clothing for potential use in an escape and evasion situation.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 12-3/4" in length and 7-7/8" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Printed on silk, backed in linen.
