This is a beautiful and salty United States Army Air Forces "back flag" chit made in the China-Burma-India theatre. This flag would have been worn on the back of a flight jacket, and is similar to a blood chit except that it bears no message other than the wearer's country of origin.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 8-1/4" in height and 13-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk-screened with textured cotton backing.

CONDITION:6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The flag is well worn and aged with one tiny hole in the field of stars.
