ARTIFACT: This is a great variant circa World War II Royal Air Force (RAF) pilot wing made in India. The wing is chain-stitched in silk upon wool, with "RAF" at the center in large lettering.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 4-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk chain-stitch embroidery upon wool.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
