ARTIFACT:
Here is a truly unique Flying Tigers souvenir! This is a United States Navy G-1 flight jacket dated 1969 with a large, one-of-a-kind American Volunteer Group (Flying Tigers) patch on reverse. The patch was signed by all 48 original members of the AVG sometime during the 1990s (please see list above).
VINTAGE:
Circa 1969.
SIZE:
Size 42. Jacket is approximately 24-1/2" (shoulder seam to cuff), 21" (armpit to armpit), 17" (across back shoulder to shoulder).
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Leather, multi-piece leather patch, mouton collar, nylon lining, polyester/cotton blend waistband/cuffs, resin buttons.
ATTACHMENT:
Zipper, buttons on pockets.

7 (Very Fine): The jacket has some spots of light to medium wear on the left sleeve and shoulder and pocket edges, and some scattered spots of wear and slight tearing (not all the way through) .
