Description
Unusual 1980's - 1990's Sunapee, New Hampshire fire department 'Tanker' badge by Blackinton. The center features a nicely enameled disc that shows a lighthouse with mountains in the background and a flock of geese flying overhead and reads: "1873" at the bottom. The outer ring of the enamel center is white and reads: "SUNAPEE FIRE DEPARTMENT LAKE OF THE WILD GOOSE" in chrome lettering. Surrounding the raised enamel, the badge reads: "TANKER SUNAPEE N.H." and shows lovely floral embellishments on each side. The top features an eagle with a scroll in its beak that reads: "FIREFIGHTER" in black painted lettering.

SIZE:Approximately 2-7/8" in height x 1-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome plated brass, black paint, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
