ARTIFACT: This is a very cool unidentified circa World War I or 1920's eagle badge, cast from or modeled after a French "Fix" wing. The item is most likely a hat badge, and is possibly for an Eastern European Air Force or Aviation Corps. The wings on the eagle curve back slightly and the badge is very three-dimensional.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I - 1920's.

SIZE: Approximately 5/8" in height and 2-9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post, disc backing, clip (one clip is missing).

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an accumulation of unidentified items which we will be listing more of over the next few months. 1st: CON-DMM-25-13 LX8/13 LEJJX1/16 RET10/16 2nd: VEJX18 LEJJX11/18

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some light wear and tarnish; one clip is missing.
