Description
This is a World War II prisoner of war jacket made from a 1920s US Army khaki uniform jacket. The jacket has been dyed a dark navy blue and has "PW" painted on the front and reverse. It has no size tag but runs fairly small.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Size extra small/small (no tag). Jacket: approximately 17-1/2" from armpit to armpit; 27" length from collar to hem (on reverse); 23" from shoulder seam to cuff; 16-1/4" between shoulders.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Khaki cotton, dyed and painted.
ATTACHMENT:Buttons (not present) .
MARKINGS:Several small tags.
