This is an unidentified early patch for a United States Army Air Forces helicopter squadron. The patch shows some sort of bird being whisked through the sky on a craft resembling a hand-mixer.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II or later.
SIZE:4-5/8" diameter with two pieces that jut out slightly.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Blue twill patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): Patch is in fantastic shape with wear on reverse only.
