ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1950s squadron patch made for the United States Air Force's 443rd Bomber Squadron. The patch shows a chickenhawk hurling a bomb above the words 443RD BOMB SQUADRON.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: 2-13/16" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton patch embroidered with red, blue, yellow, black and white cotton threads.
