This is a theatre-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 50th Signal Battalion. The DI is a red crest showing a laurel wreath and a lightning bolt with five stars.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II era.
SIZE:1-1/4" height and 1" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing and two stabilization posts.
ITEM NOTES:This item has been rated a level III rarity by ASMIC (the American Society of Military Insignia Collectors). This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRJX98 LFJX10/10 SFJX2/15
CONDITION:8 (Excellent=): DI shows small spots of light wear and enamel is fully intact.
