This is a book entitled "The Story of Antwerp X: A Combined Defense", an account of the United States Army's air attacks on Antwerp from October 1944 until April 194Antwerp was a crucial German seaport that the Allied Forces gained and needed to make sure remained operational in the face of Nazi efforts to destroy it. Brigadier General Clare Hibbs Armstrong headed up this crucial secret mission (Antwerp X), fueled by airmen from the US, Britain and the Free Polish Army. This pamphlet was published by the United States Army 50th AAA Brigade, the headquarters for the operation.
