ARTIFACT:

This is a third prize ribbon for the Boston Stationers' Association Outing on June 28, 191It was awarded to The Carter's Inks (TCI) Company for a now unknown event. The ribbon hangs from a celluloid button badge by Boston Badge Company.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1913.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/2" in width and 4-7/8" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Celluloid-wrapped tin, silk ribbon, paper backing.

ATTACHMENT:

Straight pin.

MARKINGS:

Boston Badge Co. Badges, Buttons, 294 Wash'n St. BOSTON 49 (and union mark).
