Stunning Oakland, California 1930's police sergeant badge in sterling silver by Ed Jones & Co. The six-point badge is beautifully embellished and the center shows the number: "278" and surrounding it reads: "SERGEANT OAKLAND CALIFORNIA POLICE". The reverse shows a maker's mark that reads: "ED JONES & CO. OAKLAND CAL. STERLING" and a hand engraved number: "1205".
VINTAGE:Circa 1930's.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/8" x 3-1/8".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Enameled sterling.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
