Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an absolutely stunning circa 1945 United States Marine Corps 1st Marine Division bracelet made in China. The bracelet is in heavy silver enameled in brilliant royal blue, yellow and orange. Three small panels grace the front: the main one is of a dragon, and that is flanked by an eagle, globe and anchor and the insignia of the 1st Marine Division.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II (1945).

SIZE:

Approximately 5/8" in height and 7" in length (including chain).

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Chain with locking clasp.

MARKINGS:

STERLING and maker mark (PAO CHU?).

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The bracelet has a couple of small flakes of enamel missing from the top front.
