ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful Chinese-made United States Marine Corps 1st Marine Air Wing shoulder patch. The patch is diamond-shaped in red silk and shows a golden eagle, globe and anchor above the Roman numeral one.
VINTAGE:Circa 1945-1946.
SIZE:Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 3-13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk embroidered in cotton/silk threads with cotton muslin backing.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX10 LBGEX1/11
CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): The patch is in wonderful condition with only slight wear.
