Stunning Ca. 1945-1947 Japanese-Made USAAF 40th Fighter Squadron, 35th Fighter Group (FEAF)

This is a stunningly beautiful Japanese-made patch for the United States Army Air Forces 40th Fighter Squadron, 35th Fighter Group, part of the Far East Air Forces. The patch is in bright primary colors and shows a determined devil about to hurl a thunderbolt from a cloud.

Circa 1945-1947.

Approximately 5-1/8" in diameter.

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads; rice paper backing.
