Description
This is a sterling silver World War II United States Navy son-in-service pin by Coro. The pin is a small anchor with painted lettering joined by a chain to an enameled rectangle bearing a single star.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Pins are approximately 5/16" by 11/16" and 7/16" by 9/16" chain is 2-1/8" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated sterling silver with painted areas.
ATTACHMENT:Star pin: horizontal pin with come-under locking catch; anchor pin: vertical pin with C catch; chain.
MARKINGS:STERLING CORO on reverse of star pin.
