This is a sterling silver World War II United States Navy chief petty officer son-in-service pin. The pin is a small anchor joined by a chain to an enameled rectangle bearing a single star.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Pins are approximately 1/4" by 1/2" and 1/2" by 5/8"; chain is 1-3/8" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two safety-style pins; chain.
MARKINGS:STERLING on reverse of each pin.
