ARTIFACT: Cold War, late 1940's - early 1950's Sonoma County, California Civil Defense Auxiliary Police badge from Petaluma. The ball-tipped star shaped badge reads: "SONOMA COUNTY C. D. AUX. POLICE PETALUMA" and is numbered "59".

VINTAGE: Circa late 1940's - early 1950's

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" in height x 2-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated brass with black paint.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with safety style catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Cold War Civil Defense collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX15 LAFEX4/15 SADEX07/20

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Badge shows light wear mostly on high points, much of the plating and painted details remain fully intact.
