Great Cold War, early 1950's Oakland, California Civil Defense badge. This example, is shield shaped, topped with an eagle and reads "AUXILIARY VOLUNTEER POLICE OAKLAND, CALIF." and is numbered "1516" and bears a round, raised disc with an embossed civil defense logo in the center.
