ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II shoulder patch for the United States Army 31st Division, aka the "Dixie" Division. The patch has a red border and shows two letter Ds, spine to spine. The patch was removed from a uniform.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-5/16" in height and in 2-1/2" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
