This is an 1880s-1890s American Express employee lapel pin in silver. The pin reads AMERICAN EXPRESS and shows a shield of stars and stripes at center.

Circa 1880s-1890s.

5/8 height and 13/16" width.

Silver pin with enamel details and brass backing.

Single screw pin with disc backing and one stabilizer pin.
