Scarce WWII USN Flight Surgeon Overseas Cap Size Wing Plated Sterling

This is a scarce circa World War II United States Navy flight surgeon wing in an overseas cap size. The wing is in unmarked plated sterling silver and has an acorn at the center of the detailed wing.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 9/16 in height and 1-1/2" in width.

Plated sterling silver (unmarked).

Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
